I can't recall how this all started, but in 2013 something wonderful happened with my tastebuds and a Reuben - finding each other in perfect harmony. I recall being completely overwhelmed at how delicious a sandwich could be, and it changed my foundation of the humble sandwich. On Fridays at lunch I began seeking out Reuben in the CBD as a variety to my usual packed lunch and was surprised at the variations on offer. Wanting to have a mechanism of recording my Reuben experiences, this blog is born.
My scoring system is fairly arbitrary, I enjoy lots (lots!) of sauerkraut and gherkins are a must so the rating are naturally skewed to that. I aim to be as accurate and honest as possible, I appreciate feedback as well as Reuben sightings to add to my tasting list.
